October is on the horizon and I am confident that my life mirrored the weather in September. There were many highs and lows. There were moments of intense heat and cooling tears. My head and my heart were challenged in ways I didn’t anticipate, as old energies were kindling for the fall.
There were many days of kind clouds and productivity. The air was crisp and so was my understanding. Creativity swirled through my studio and confidence radiated from my pores. I felt lucky to have been in the Frederick Magazine and even luckier to have a new studio.
Some days were sweltering and my blood was glue. Heritage Day’s was fast approaching and I had so much to do. Humidity halted my energy, and there was a task weighing on my mind. I wondered what I got myself into and really hoped I would get it all done.
I relied heavily on my oil diffuser, blending lavender and sweet orange to bring about an uplifting calm. New ideas buzzed joyfully around me as I tried to concentrate on what to say. In that moment, I realize my appreciation for pressure. It makes me organized. It keeps me active, and it gives me purpose. The pressures I experienced this past month were enlightening. Some I created for myself and some were from outside sources, but either way I conquered, and most importantly, I created.
